2 Days App Reviews

Simple!

This is a great idea, nice interface. I already have Swipes, so this is redundant. But check it out!

Description is a lie-misleading

The description of what the app can do for you and what you can do with it is somewhat a lie. It does not tell you that this version that costs 99cents is only a small portion of the app and when you buy it for 99cents you cant do anything that is in the description. Instead you have to pay another 99cents to get the full version. This version should be free and the full version should cost money. This is very misleading and false advertising.

Nice app!!

There is a request. When displaying all the lists, it is made to want you to understand to which list it corresponds. Moreover, please realize the whole screen display in iPad. Thank you for your consideration.

Im feeling this app is useful.

タスクを「今日」「明日」「そのうち」の3つに分けて管理できるのがとても便利です。 iPhone 6 Plusの解像度に対応してもらえるとうれしいです。 This app is very useful because its possible to manage tasks by dividing into three, "Today", "Tomorrow" and "Later". I am very glad if you correspond to the resolution of iPhone 6 Plus.

No dates showing :(

Quick, simple, can be synced, but you wont know the date of your task unless you edit it. Today, tomorrow are fine, but later with no dates doesnt organize at all

Loved this but... abandoned?

I LOVE this app - its simple and so useful: even though I use Things and OmniFocus for larger projects, 2 Days is phenominal for catching all the little bits and crumbs that dont need to fit into the larger organization there. Unfortunately, 2 Days has stopped syncing for me. I dont know if they didnt pay their iCloud bill, or if the developer has dropped out of the program, or if just a recent iOS update broke its sync abilities. But the last update here was early in 2015, and email Ive sent to the developer has gone unanswered. I fear that this may be abandoned.

Used to be great. Abandoned?

This app was great, but hasnt been updated since 2014, and sync is only working occasionally now, and not unidirectionally. It would be great to see the developer come back and provide an update to this app. I happily purchased the upgrade - its well worth the few dollars - but with declining reliability and only crickets from the developer, I dont know if I can rely on this app any longer. Hopefully Apples new push to purge abandonware will either get this app killed (hey, at least wed know), or better, spur the developer to provide an update and get this working well again.

Great app but may be abandoned.

This is a brilliant getting things done to-do app that really would be awesome if it gets an update. It unfortunately looks like it has been abandoned by the developer since its last updates were in 2014. Works with iOS 9 but who knows if that will be true with iOS 10 and beyond. Please come back and update this!

Good implementation of a classic productivity technique

The simplest and most economical way to set your day on the right path. Make a list for today. Check off the items as you do them. At the end of the day, move your unfinished and still living items to the next day. Only now I get to do it on my phone, and with greater ease than paper. I was looking for this exact functionality in an app for some time. I wouldnt mind a few (only a few) more bells and whistles, but this app solidly delivers on the essentials, and in a very streamlined way. Very well done. Thank you for making this!

Best Simple To Do App

Fantastic. I dont have to enter start and stop dates and alarm dates and all that other extra time wasting stuff. I just wanted simple place to jot todos without all the hassle. My new fave. Now if they can make a similar one for a money bucket list!

simple and effective

the app is so simple, but works wonderfully.

Great 2 day

This is a great app that does exactly what it says it will do. Simple and easy. My favorite reminder tool.

The best in its class. Highly useful.

This is an app that ends the drudgery of seeking a short-term personal planner that threads the needle on speed and practicality. The third category (the "Later" option), as well as the Logbook, closed the deal for me. A total keeper here. I want to thank the developers for making this highly useful app available. So well thought out. To super-charge your personal planning, match this app up with the calendar program "Moca" and Electric Pockets on-the-fly, short-term reminder app "Nag" -- youll be all set!

Quick, Easy and Effective

If you are looking for an effective and fast solution to manage all your tasks, this is it!

It did not help me

I just bough this app to remind me my future tasks , but there is no alarm to set for Later Tasks , then how would you remind for that task?

A cure for procrastination

Things I love about this app: 1. There are only 3 categories for when something can happen: today, tomorrow, or later. This makes it SO easy to defer tasks unit tomorrow or later, so I can re-prioritize constantly, without being penalized by too many steps and clicks. 2. Its easy to organize by project, and to create new projects, so I can add a bunch of tasks without cluttering my "today" view. For example, if I know I need to spend 60 minutes today on x project, I can quickly work through everything thats due today. Then, if I have an idea for that project for later, I can quickly switch over to the same project "later" and add a bunch of stuff so I dont forget. Without cluttering up my view. 3. Takes away my guilt if I dont accomplish something--while still allowing me to set ambitious goals. In other apps, im constantly reminded of the original deadline set to accomplish a task if I dont check the task off, which makes me feel guilty and resistant to even looking at my to-do list. This takes away my guilt by just moving "late" tasks to today. 4. I use this in conjunction with Google Calendar--Google Calendar manages REAL deadlines, and this manages real deadlines PLUS the aspirational deadlines. 5 Lets me step away from the computer to consult with what comes next--instead of constantly having my eyes glued to the computer. Looking at the iPad shifts my perspective just slightly, so I have a new frame of mind to help me decide whats really important today, and what needs to happen next.

Im never this quick to write a review . . .

but this cant wait, because Ive been looking for this app since I got my iPhone/iPad 17 months ago! My criteria was 1)sync between devices; 2) simplicity; 3)sensible editing opportunities; 4)optional reminders; 5)easy entry - I could go on, but this app has all the above, with sublime simplicity. So many times Ive thought Id found task-app-nirvana, only to be disappointed at some ridiculous quirk. My next task? Deleting all the task-apps on my devices that have left me limping on their inefficiencies! Thank you for an absolutely awesome app. 5 Stars no problem, too bad cant be 10! Love it!

Simple but useful

Very easy to use

Obviously not an Alcoholic!

2 days at a time is genius..... Simplicity of focus! We could all use that when life is complicated. One day time is extreme desperation for obtaining clarity in Alcoholic recovery, and furthered in Eastern Religious Philosophy to moments continual throughout life as the higher wisdom sought for maintaining SPIRITUAL ENLIGHTENMENT. Oddly enough though unconsciously sought the wisdom serviced in maintenance drinking for ALCOHOLIC EUPHORIA. Reportedly the path to the state of Nevada by drunks and the path to the state of Nirvana by monks.

Im a loyal user

Ive used this app for quite awhile & love it for its ease & functionality. I like the newly added search feature for what used to be the log book (now "complete"), BUT the search should be predictive so it pulls everything "starting with" to the top to make it easier to find what youre searching for or alternatively, if you could change the order of the completed list alphabetically, that would help too. I do love this app though!
